Veteran entertainer Marie Osmond's TV talk show has been axed after just one series due to dwindling viewing figures. The Paper Roses singer landed the show on America's Hallmark Channel after Martha Stewart's arts and crafts slot was pulled in January, 2012, but now Osmond has suffered the same fate. A statement issued by network bosses reads, "We are extremely grateful to Marie Osmond, whose immense talent and dedication to excellence is unmatched in entertainment. "Marie is a consummate professional and outstanding human being in every way possible. We have enjoyed working with her on the talk show and know her passion to create an offering of such high quality will find great success in syndication." New episodes will continue to air until August (13) and repeats will then run until a new show takes over the time slot in September (13).
