Rockers The Black Keys have showed off their generous side by sponsoring a kids' baseball team in drummer Patrick Carney's Ohio hometown. Carney used to play for the West Akron Baseball League in Akron along with his childhood best friend, who recently asked the musician to sponsor his younger brother's Little League team. The Lonely Boy hitmakers handed over $300 (£193) so the team could have new shirts, each emblazoned with their sponsor's band name. Carney and his bandmate Dan Auerbach have even offered to sign the children's jerseys once the season is finished, according to TMZ.com.
