Beloved British author Jane Austen is to feature on the new English £10 note. The woman behind literary classic Pride and Prejudice will replace naturalist Charles Darwin. The new look note is likely to hit the financial market in 2017, according to Bank of England bosses. New governor Mark Carney says, "Jane Austen certainly merits a place in the select group of historical figures to appear on our banknotes. Her novels have an enduring and universal appeal and she is recognised as one of the greatest writers in English literature."
