Flavor Flav restaurant shut down for good

Jul 26, 2013 | 7:28am EDT

Flavor Flav's fast food diner in Sterling Heights, Michigan has been shut down for good after the troubled rapper's business partners failed to hand over a court-ordered payment. Bosses of Flavor Flav's Chicken & Ribs restaurant have been fighting eviction for months over allegations they have fallen behind on rent, but in June (13), they were granted the right to stay as long as they handed over a one-off payment of one month's rent to the landlord. The $3,500 (£2,333) sum was never received, according to, so the eviction was given the green light. Removal trucks arrived at the building on Wednesday (24Jul13) to begin carting stuff away, while police officers attended the scene to ensure the eviction went smoothly.
