Actress Cate Blanchett's son is urging the star to take on bigger blockbuster roles after her new Woody Allen movie Blue Jasmine left the youngster unimpressed. The Lord Of the Rings star's son is movie industry savvy and has started giving mum career advice. She says, "I was telling my 11 year old the story of Blue Jasmine, it's about a woman's spectacular downfall on the Upper East Side (in New York), and he put his head in his hand and he says, 'Mum, when are you going to make a blockbuster?' He goes online and he looks at all the grosses and he looks at all the films I'm in; he's giving me career advice." Despite her roles in major Hollywood films like The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Blanchett's son still thinks she needs to take on bigger roles in higher-grossing movies. Blanchett, who returned from a filmmaking hiatus to work with Woody Allen, admits even her participation in the Lord of the Rings films failed to impress her son: "He said, 'You weren't in it very much'."
