Actor Jason London has been ordered to attend an alcohol treatment programme after pleading guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct relating to an Arizona bar brawl in January (13). The Dazed and Confused star was initially slapped with an additional count of assault after allegedly punching a bouncer at the Martini Ranch bar in Scottsdale and then reportedly fighting police officers who arrived at the scene. London was left battered and bruised in the clash and maintained he was the real victim, pleading not guilty to the claims during a court hearing in February (13). The case was due to go to trial, but he has since reached a plea deal with prosecutors, who dropped the assault accusation on Friday (26Jul13) in exchange for his admission to disorderly conduct, reports TMZ.com. As a result, the 40 year old, who underwent reconstructive surgery in February (13) to repair facial fractures sustained in the fight, has dodged a possible jail term. In addition to the treatment programme, he must pay $118 (£79) in court fees.
