Benedict Cumberbatch is giving acting lessons to his rumoured girlfriend Katia Elizarova as she attempts to make the transition from the catwalk to the stage. The Star Trek Into Darkness star has previously denied rumours of a romance with Russian model Elizarova, but they were pictured kissing on holiday in Ibiza, Spain this month (Jul13). Elizarova has now revealed Cumberbatch is helping her prepare for her theatre debut after she landed a role in a new play called Sunstroke, which has been adapted from a short story by Anton Chekhov. She tells Britain's Daily Telegraph, "I've no theatrical experience, although I have done film. They gave me the role because I am so Russian... I have just got my script and began rehearsals. Ben has been a great help, but he is very strict. He asks me all about what my character wears, and even how she dresses her daughter. I said, 'Well, in a dress' and he said, 'No, that isn't good enough. What dress?... You ought to know how your character would dress her daughter'." Elizarova's run in Sunstroke kicks off at the Platform Theatre in London's Kings Cross on 28 August (13).
