Three of Bob Marley's sons will head to the U.K. to perform at a music festival in the Beatles' hometown for the first time. Reggae stars Damien, Stephen and Julian Marley will take to the stage at the Liverpool International Music Festival in England on 25 August (13). The event's organiser Yaw Owusu says, "When I first started programming this festival back in February, a performance from a Marley brother was on my wish-list for the world music stage. "So to say that I'm over the moon (pleased) about getting not one, but three of the leading reggae stars would be an understatement. It's a real coup, particularly as they have never before played in the city." The trio will perform with youngsters signed to the Ghetto Youths International Crew, a record label set up by the Marleys to help underprivileged kids break into music.
