Actress and producer Gail Kobe has died at the age of 82. She passed away in her native Michigan on 1 August (13). No further details of her death have yet been released. Kobe started out her career in the late 1950s, starring in The Ten Commandments, The Twilight Zone, Bewitched, and Gunsmoke, and she was nominated for an Emmy Award for her role as Dr. Anne Warner in Dr. Kildare. Kobe moved behind the camera in the 1980s, working as an executive producer on soap opera Texas, before moving on to The Bold and the Beautiful upon its debut in 1987. She produced 210 episodes of the soap before stepping down in the early 1990s.
