Singer Martha Wainwright gave away tickets to her show in London on Saturday night (17Aug13) to the medical staff who helped save her son's life. The star gave birth to her little boy Arcangelo, now three, 10 weeks early in 2009 after falling ill in the U.K. while playing a number of gigs in the country, and she credited the medical staff at a London hospital with saving her son. Wainwright returned to University College London Hospital with Arcangelo last week (ends18Aug13) during her current trip to the U.K., and she gave staff front-row tickets to her show at the city's Union Chapel on Saturday night. During the concert, Wainwright thanked the hospital staff who were seated in the audience, and urged her British fans to throw their support behind the country's National Health Service (NHS).
