Paramore's live drummer Miles Mcpherson is recovering after sustaining severe injuries in a golf cart accident on Friday (16Aug13). The musician, who has also played with Kelly Clarkson, was behind the wheel of the buggy when he lost control and the vehicle flipped on top of him. His wife and two pals were thrown from the cart, but McPherson suffered broken bones in his face and finger and also hurt his leg. He was admitted to the burn unit at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, to receive treatment for skin on his face, shoulder and arms that was exposed to leaked battery acid. McPherson's pals have set up a donation page on Facebook.com to help the father-of-two while he is out of work, and the drummer has taken to his Twitter.com page to post a gruesome photo of his injuries. He also thanked his loved ones for their support, writing, "I have the best friends a guy could ask for. Feeling incredibly blessed right now." Paramore singer Hayley Williams seemed unfazed by McPherson's graphic shot of his bruised and bloodied face, tweeting, "Looking good Miles!"
