Rockers Travis were forced to use other bands' instruments for their set at a British festival over the weekend (17-18Aug13) after their equipment got stranded in Spain. The Why Does It Always Rain On Me? hitmakers took to the stage at Virgin Media's V Festival in Essex, England on Saturday (17Aug13) with gear borrowed from other groups after aides told them of the mishap. Their guitars, drums, and amplifiers finally arrived in the U.K. hours later, just in time for their appearance at the festival's twin event in Staffordshire, England the following day. Guitarist Andy Dunlop tell Scottish newspaper the Daily Record, "Our equipment went missing but everyone was calm and we were at a festival with loads of other bands' gear. I had this guitar that I'd never played before. Typically our gear turned up when we came off stage. It had been stuck in Spain where we were before and we got it in time for the Stafford gig."
