British TV presenter Denise Van Outen is planning to walk the Great Wall of China to raise cash for charity - and help her overcome her split from husband Lee Mead. The blonde has previously scaled Mount Kilimanjaro, cycled across India, and enjoyed an expedition to the ancient ruins at Machu Picchu in Peru, and now she has her sights set on another Wonder of the World. Van Outen was inspired to take on the challenge following the death of a close friend's father, but she also confesses she is hoping to put the trauma of her split from musical theatre star Mead last month (Jul13) firmly behind her. She tells British magazine Hello!, "Whenever I've done anything like this before I've always come back with a clear head, and the past few months haven't been easy. I'll come back with a clean slate ready to start again. It's going to be very emotional..." Van Outen will be raising cash for the Royal Marsden Hospital in London during the trek.
