The Beach Boys recently made an Ohio bride's wedding day extra special after inviting her onstage to apologise for interrupting her nuptials with their concert soundcheck. Mark Kent and Jaime Diadiun had no idea the I Get Around hitmakers would be rehearsing at the outdoor Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica, right next to their wedding venue, as they exchanged vows on 4 August (13), leaving them to contend with the rockers as they played a few bars of the appropriately-titled God Only Knows (What I'd Be Without You). The bride and groom laughed off the unusual interruption and pressed ahead with the rest of their celebrations, but representatives for the band later stopped by to apologise for the noise and invited the wedding party to that night's show. Diadiun was given the star treatment after a stage manager spotted the newlywed and escorted her to the stage, allowing her to play tambourine next to singer Mike Love as he performed Fun, Fun, Fun. Speaking about the disruption at her nuptials, she tells Cleveland.com, "It was awesome and perfectly timed. God Only Knows will likely be our official song now."
