A bodyguard who has provided protection to Rihanna, Jay Z and Beyonce has died after a showdown with cops in Florida, according to U.S. reports. Norman Oosterbroek was Tasered by police on Monday (02Sep13) after officers responding to an emergency call found him naked and fighting with home owner Markus Jung. Police saw the 43 year old swallow an unknown substance during the altercation and shot him with the stun gun when he allegedly became aggressive. Oosterbroek was admitted to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident. Miami-Dade Police spokesperson Det. Javier Baez says, "It's possible that he may have been under some type of a narcotics. Again, he was observed swallowing, ingesting some kind of substance." According to the Miami Herald, Oosterbroek began his career guarding former South African President Nelson Mandela, and had in recent years worked for stars including Rihanna, Jay Z, Beyonce and Lady Gaga. Singer Daniel Merriweather has taken to Twitter.com to pay tribute, writing, "R.I.P Norman Oosterbroek... He was always super friendly, a gentle giant, when he was around everything ran smoothly."
