Liberace's former toyboy lover Scott Thorson is back behind bars for allegedly violating his probation after failing a random drug test. Thorson, who is fighting colon cancer, was taken into custody by Nevada police on Thursday (05Sep13), less than two months after he was sentenced to five years probation in relation to burglary and identity theft charges. The writer, who was portrayed by Matt Damon in TV movie Behind The Candelabra, is said to have tested positive for methamphetamines during a court hearing to modify the probation sentence, according to the Reno Gazette Journal. However, Thorson's attorney, David Houston, claims the failed test could be linked to nasal surgery his client underwent on Tuesday (03Sep13). He says, "I don't know what drugs were used during nasal surgery. More questions (need to be asked)." Thorson's next hearing has been set for 11 September (13).
