Actress/singer Miley Cyrus will return to U.S. comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live as a host and performer in October (13). The former Hannah Montana star first appeared on the popular series in 2011 and was featured in several skits, in which she poked fun at Lindsay Lohan and pal Justin Bieber. She also joked about her changing image from a Disney actress to a more risque star. The appearance in October will mark the first time she has served as both host and performer. On Monday (10Sep13), Cyrus hit headlines when she released the video for her new song Wrecking Ball, in which she stripped off to her birthday suit and swung about on a chained metal ball. The provocative promo shattered viewing records on website VEVO as 15 million fans checked it out in the first 24 hours - that beats the previous mark set in June (13) by One Direction’s Best Song Ever.
