Actress Mireille Enos is holding out hope her scrapped series The Killing will be resurrected, insisting she was "disappointed" to learn the show had been axed. The American version of the hit Danish crime thriller, starring Enos as detective Sarah Linden, was first axed in 2012 but was brought back to life after AMC network bosses struck a deal with streaming website Netflix. It was announced earlier this week (11Sep13) that the show would be cancelled again due to falling viewer figures but Enos isn't ruling out the chance of another revival. She tells TVGuide.com, "Never say never - stranger things have happened. (The production team is) doing what they can to find it another home. We'll see what happens." Enos admits she was upset by the news, adding, "I'm disappointed... I'm very, very proud of the third season. When it got cancelled after season two, I was disappointed... And then when AMC came back around, I really thought that meant that we had at least two (more) seasons with them... Either way, I'm very proud of the work that I got to do on that show."
