The Terminator reboot has a fight on its hands after film bosses held it back to go head-to-head with the highly-anticipated Independence Day sequel. Arnold Schwarzenegger will be back to reprise his iconic role as the killing machine in the new installments of the blockbuster franchise, which was scheduled to hit cinemas in June, 2015. However, Paramount executives have decided to move the film's release date, setting it back to July, 2015, meaning it will open just two days before Independence Day 2 hits the big screen. Earlier this month (Sep13), director Roland Emmerich revealed he is hoping to persuade Will Smith to come back onboard as Captain Steven Hiller in the follow-up to the 1996 hit. He told DigitalSpy.com, "I sometimes say no, Will Smith will not be in it because he didn't want to do it at first. Now we have a meeting planned, we want to talk about it again. Anything can happen." Original stars Bill Pullman and Jeff Goldblum have already been confirmed for the sequel.
