Charlie Sheen has slashed his monthly child support to his former wife Brooke Mueller in half. The actor reportedly provided $55,000 (£36,666)-a-month in support to Mueller but has managed to successfully cut it by more than 50 per cent to $25,000 (£16,600) as their twin sons remain in the care of Sheen's second wife, Denise Richards. The four-year-old boys, Bob and Max, were taken from the socialite in May (13) when she was placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold after overdosing on drugs. A source tells Radaronline, "A deal was made out of court between Charlie and Brooke's lawyers, which involved a mediator. The new child support payment is $25,000 a month, since the twins, Bob and Max, aren't living with Brooke. "If the judge in child dependency court gives the boys back to Brooke, Charlie will immediately begin paying her the full $55,000 a month."
