The children of celebrated photographer Bert Stern have become embroiled in a court battle over his $10 million (£6.7 million) fortune. Stern, who conducted Marilyn Monroe's last ever photoshoot, died in June (13) at the age of 83, and his son and two daughters are now contesting his will. The grown-up trio, Bret O. Stern, Trista Wright and Susannah Peterson Stern, have filed paperwork at Manhattan Surrogate's Court in New York asking for an examination of their father's 2010 will, in which he declared his assets should be left to a trust run by his second wife, Shannah Laumeister, according to the New York Post. Stern's first will, signed in 1997, stated half his wealth should be divided equally between his three children, and the rest he left to charity. Laumeister, 44, married the celebrity snapper in 2011. Stern photographed stars including Audrey Hepburn, Dame Elizabeth Taylor, and Madonna, and he also recreate Monroe's 'Last Sitting' with troubled actress Lindsay Lohan.
