Simon Cowell has revealed he spent years shying away from becoming a dad because he always worried about the woman who would give birth to his child. The X Factor boss and judge admits he never considered fatherhood an option before girlfriend Lauren Silverman fell pregnant with his child - because he was "scared of who I was going to have kids with". He tells longtime pal and DJ Ryan Seacrest on his radio show, "Lauren and I get along really well and once I got used to the idea I thought, 'I think this is going to be very good'." But Silverman shouldn't expect the music and TV mogul to be in the delivery room with her when she becomes a mum. He adds, "I know this sounds awful, but it's like, you don't want to go in to the restaurant while they're making your dinner. I think there are certain things you shouldn't see and that is one of them. I'll be very close by, but no (I won't watch)." His latest baby talk comes just days after ex-girlfriend Sinitta revealed she aborted Cowell's baby while they were dating in the 1980s. She told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper, "I know the curse has been lifted as I have been blessed with children and now Simon is too, plus God forgives."
