Bassist Keith 'sabu' Crier, a member of disco band Gq, has passed away. The 58 year old musician died on Sunday (29Sep13). No further details surrounding his death have been released. A post on the band's Facebook.com page reads, "I am sad to say that my musical brother and fellow GQ band mate Keith 'Sabu' Crier has passed away. He was an innovator. Sabu is gone..... but the music we made will go on forever." Formed in 1968, GQ made waves on the disco scene with hits like Disco Nights (Rock-Freak), Sitting in the Park and I Do Love You. The band continued until the early 1990s and reunited in 1999 to record a tribute to Billy Stewart and Marvin Gaye.
