Spanish-language version of Breaking Bad set to hit TV screens

Movie executives at Sony Pictures Television are developing a Spanish-language series inspired by U.S. TV drama Breaking Bad. The show's premise will closely follow the U.S. version with a few minor changes. Metastasis - a reference to the main character's metastasising cancer - will follow the fortunes of Walter Blanco, a Colombian high-school teacher who becomes a a methamphetamine dealer. Bryan Cranston played Walter White on the U.S. show, which ended its run on Sunday night (29Sep13).
