Rocker Robert Mawhinney has been sentenced to seven years behind bars for loan fraud. The Lights Over Paris frontman, 30, was found guilty of lying about his finances while applying for over $6 million (£4 million) in loans to fund his rock star lifestyle. To back up his claims to Comerica Inc. officials, he provided falsified documents. The singer, who performs as Robb University, was charged in January (13) and in April (13), he pleaded guilty to four counts of making false statements to federally insured banks and one count of money laundering. However, he filed more false statements in another attempt to gain credit and has now been jailed.
