A representative for actor Eddie Cibrian has slammed a U.S. tabloid report suggesting he is seeking a $50 million (£33.3 million) divorce from singer Leann Rimes, dismissing the allegations as "lies". The former CSI: Miami star began romancing Rimes in 2009 when they were both married to other people, but they subsequently divorced their respective partners and walked down the aisle in 2011. However, sources tell Star magazine Cibrian has since reached out to his ex-wife Brandi Glanville, who endured a nasty split from the actor, to vent about his marital problems with Rimes as he reportedly plots to end their two-year union. A source told the publication, "(Cibrian) calls and texts her (Glanville) regularly, especially when he's had a bad day with LeAnn... Brandi's always happy to let him unburden himself to her." But a spokesperson for Cibrian has shut down the allegations, telling Eonline.com, "(The report is) completely untrue. Amazing how Star dreams up these stories and then prints lies as possible truth."
