Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner has sparked concern among fans by admitting he's battling a severe bout of writer's block. The 27 year old rocker is a prolific songwriter, penning almost all of the band's five hit albums single-handedly. However, he has hit a rough patch and reveals he hasn't had an idea for a new track for months. He tells Britain's Daily Star, "I've got absolutely no clue what to do next, I'm barren. I've not had a song idea in months, seriously." It's already been a bad week (begs28Oct13) for Turner - the Arctic Monkeys missed out on the Mercury Prize to James Blake, and a bout of laryngitis has forced the star to cancel two of the band's U.K. gigs.
