Black actor Brandon T. Jackson was escorted off a US Airways flight by police on Monday (04Nov13) after becoming enraged by a stewardess who allegedly insulted him with a racial slur. The Tropic Thunder star, 29, detailed his nightmare experience from New York to Phoenix, Arizona on his Twitter.com blog, claiming he became embroiled in an argument with a flight attendant named Dee after she asked him to take his seat. The feud turned nasty after she allegedly used the 'N' word. Taking to Twitter as the drama unfolded, Jackson appealed to fans to spread the news about his alleged mistreatment, writing, "US AIRWAYS their (sic) so racist they said 'i don't care if your (sic) (President Barack) Obama son get in your seat!!' Flight 629 flight attendant 'DEE' please help (sic)!!!!" He added, "they (police) want to escort me off the plane for her saying racial stuff i have witness (sic)... somebody please tweet about this this is insane... GUYS i need you help i am not going to jail for be (sic) called racial slurs please..." Jackson was marched off the flight upon landing in Phoenix and questioned by cops. He was forced to spend the night in the city after suggesting US Airways officials had banned him from boarding another flight. He tweeted, "I was released from question (sic) and stranded in phx (Phoenix) they will not let me fly anymore I don't want to... This was the most racist thing that ever happen to me even the white people on the plane was like that (is) racist..." Representatives for US Airways have yet to comment on the accusations, but Jackson's claims came as no surprise to model/fashion designer Angela Simmons, daughter of Run-D.M.C. icon Reverend Run. Reaching out to the actor on Twitter, she wrote, "@brandontjackson not cool! I don't fly them either ! They kicked me off before! Never again!".
