Richard Branson's first Virgin Galactic space flight will be broadcast live on U.S. TV network NBC. The Virgin empire founder and his two adult children, Holly and Sam, will be the first private passengers to jet off into space when they take off on SpaceShipTwo from a base in New Mexico next year (14). The three-hour live broadcast as part of breakfast show Today will be hosted by Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie. If all goes well, Branson's commercial space flights will begin later next year (14) with celebrities like Ashton Kutcher and Lady Gaga among the first people to experience a few minutes high above the earth.
