Beloved British actor Tony Robinson can now add 'Sir' to his name after picking up a knighthood at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday (12Nov13). The 67-year-old former Blackadder star was knighted by Prince William after landing the title as part of the Queen's Birthday Honours list in recognition of his public and political service. However, he admits he "messed up" the ceremony by forgetting the protocol of meeting a member of the royal family. Robinson says, "I was just stood there and I was looking at HRH (His Royal Highness) and he was looking at me. I stepped forward and knelt. Then I went the wrong way."
