Rising rapper George Watsky has apologised for his "stupid" behaviour at a concert in London after jumping off a lighting rig and landing himself and two fans in hospital. The 27 year old climbed up a 35-foot (10.7-metre) high rig during a show at Alexandra Palance on Sunday (17Nov13) and leaped off without warning - only to come crashing down on the audience, breaking one woman's arm and injuring a man. The gig, part of the touring Warped Tour event, had to be halted by organisers as Watsky and his victims were attended to by paramedics, who transported them to a nearby hospital. Watsky, from San Francisco, California, subsequently took to his Facebook.com page on Sunday night to express his remorse over the incident, writing, "It was stupid and wildly irresponsible, plain and simple... I have no excuse for my actions, and the only way I can explain my mindset is that it was a huge overreach in the heat of the moment. No, I was not drunk or on drugs... "I feel f**king terrible. I made a boneheaded decision that got people hurt, and it's extremely lucky it wasn't worse... I am deeply sorry and I promise to learn from this mistake." Watsky was discharged from hospital hours later and escaped with minor cuts and bruises.
