British TV broadcaster Ray Gosling has died. He was 74. The journalist and gay rights advocate passed away at a hospital in his native Nottingham, England on Tuesday (19Nov13). No further details about his death have been released. Gosling presented hundreds of documentaries and radio shows for the BBC throughout his career. He was also a prominent activist in the 1960s gay rights movement. In 2010, he made headlines himself by alleging he had suffocated a former lover who was dying of AIDS. He was arrested and questioned, but was later charged with wasting police time. He was sentenced to a 90-day suspended sentence.
