One Direction have rocketed to the top of the U.K. album charts with the fastest-selling release for two years. The group has debuted Midnight Memories at number one with 237,000 copies sold in a week, selling more than any one act in a week since Michael Buble's Christmas in 2011. It's a big week for boy band stars past and present in the U.K. charts - Take That star Gary Barlow debuts his solo album Since I Saw You Last at two, while former bandmate Robbie Williams' former number one, Swings Both Ways, drops to three. On the U.K. singles countdown, Calvin Harris, Alesso and Theo Hutchcraft's Under Control takes control of the number one spot and Barlow's Let Me Go rises to two.
