Actress Audrey Totter has died at the age of 95. The film noir star, who had a stroke and suffered from congestive heart failure, passed away on Thursday (12Dec13) in California, according to the Los Angeles Times. Totter began her career as a radio actress, but her big film breakthrough came in 1947, when she starred as a publishing executive opposite Robert Montgomery in Lady in the Lake. She went on to star in several films including The Set-Up, High Wall and The Unsuspected. The actress also appeared in TV shows including Dr. Kildare, Our Man Higgins, Cimarron City and Medical Center. Her last role came in 1987, when she played a small part in an episode of U.S. TV drama Murder, She Wrote.
