Dance star Moby has turned a lyric video for his new song Almost Home into an appeal to pet lovers in a bid to help bosses at a Los Angeles animal shelter find new homes for dogs and cats in time for the holidays. The Porcelain hitmaker recently shot the cute promo at the Best Friends Animal Society and in the clip, he holds up sheets of paper featuring the words to parts of the track while cuddling up to a number of different furry friends. At the end of the video, Moby shares updates about some of the cats and dogs he spent time with on the shoot, revealing some have been adopted, while others are listed as still "available to adopt". He shared a YouTube.com link to the promo with his Twitter.com followers on Thursday (19Dec13), and wrote, "Around holiday/channukah/kwanzaa/saturnalia/festivus/etc is an especially good time to adopt an animal from a shelter... "I hope you like the video, and you're able to provide a home for a dog or cat (or gerbil or snake or any other shelter animal) this season." The sweet clip has already won Moby praise from No Doubt rocker Tony Kanal, who shared the link with his fans, describing the video as "heartwarming". The song Almost Home is a collaboration between Moby and Damien Jurado.
