Dozens of residents in Santa Clarita, California are opposing a petition urging officials to change the name of the street where Paul Walker died last month (Nov13). Thousands of fans have flocked online to sign a petition, hosted by GoPetition.com, in a bid to persuade city officials to change the name of Hercules Street to Walker/Rodas Memorial Way, to honour the late actor and his friend Roger Rodas. However, city councillor TimBen Boydston tells TMZ.com the name of the road can only be changed with the support of local residents, and many have reportedly decided to oppose the tribute as Walker was not a part of the community. The star and Rodas perished in a car crash between Kelly Johnson Parkway and Hercules Street on 30 November (13).
