Outkast's former manager Queen Latifah has revealed the newly-reunited rap duo is working on their first album in eight years. Big Boi and Andre 3000 announced last week (ends10Jan14) they would perform at Coachella in California and the Governor's Ball in New York, and they have since revealed plans for 40 festival appearances in 2014. Now, according to Latifah, the rappers are preparing to head into the studio to work on new music as well. She tells U.S. radio host Howard Stern, "They're chilling, they're doing their thing. They're doing movies and they're about to work on a new album." OutKast's last album, Idlewild, was released in 2006.
