R&B veteran Charlie Wilson credits his wife with the success of his gospel song If I Believe, because she wrote the Grammy-nominated tune in her sleep. The singer reveals his wife Mahin came up with the lyrics in the middle of the night and woke up to scribble down the words she had just dreamed up. He tells U.S. breakfast show Today, "We kind of fiddled with it a little bit, and she says, 'Well, it's going to be nominated for a Grammy' and I said, 'OK, dream again...' and then it ended up being nominated." Wilson lost out on the Best Gospel Song prize at the Grammy Awards last week (26Jan14) to Tye Tibbett, who took home the honour for his live version of If He Did It Before... Same God.
