British hip-hop star Wiley has scrapped his new album Snakes And Ladders despite spending $42,000 (£26,250) on the project. The rapper has decided to pull the plug and "start from scratch" because he was not happy with the finished product, dubbing it "scrap metal". He announced the news on Twitter.com, writing, "I am gonna (sic) scrap Snakes And Ladders and start again cos (sic) I ain't happy with it (sic)... Needs to be epic or else there is no point." Wiley also told fans he would not be leaking material from the axed project unlike his previous album, The Ascent, which he debuted on his Facebook.com page 12 days before the official release date following a dispute with his record label last year (13). He added, "I ain't leaking s**t either... not this time I'm 42 thousand dollars in... No leaks LOL (laugh out loud)."
