Pop star Pixie Lott hid from photographers while filming her role in U.K. TV drama Inspector George Gently as she was petrified they would snap her in her 'murder victim' make-up. The Mama Do hitmaker plays a young woman whose dead body is washed up on a beach in an episode of the crime series, and she sported heavy prosthetics for the role. However, the make-up made her look so gruesome she deliberately hid from snappers on the shoot in case she was subjected to mocking comments about her 'latest look'. Lott tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "I was trying to hide from the paparazzi because I looked so terrible - my character, Megan, is murdered and found washed up on the beach, so I had all this grey make-up on and was worried I'd end up seeing pictures of me next to a headline like: 'Pixie's gone off the rails!'... I don't mind being photographed when I'm all dressed up and at an event, but I hate it when it's unexpected - they always seem to want to get shots of me looking rough!"
