Producers behind director Joe Wright's forthcoming Peter Pan movie are giving aspiring actors the chance to star as the boy who never grew up by holding open auditions in the U.K. Casting calls have been sent out for boys of all ethnic backgrounds, aged between 11 and 13 and no taller than five feet four inches (1.65 metres), to attend auditions for the lead role at London's Wembley Arena on 23 February (14). The lucky young actor selected to portray Peter Pan will join a cast which already includes Hugh Jackman, as pirate villain Blackbeard, while TRON: Legacy actor Garrett Hedlund has also been tapped to play Pan's arch-enemy, Captain Hook, as a younger man. The Warner Bros. project, which is expected to be released in the summer of 2015, is the latest to revolve around J.M. Barrie's classic tale - there are also films in the works at Columbia and Disney, with the likes of Channing Tatum and The Hunger Games director Gary Ross attached.
