A Northern Irish man who admitted plotting to kill Britain's Prince Harry has been jailed for three years. Mark David Townley, who changed his named to Ashraf Islam after converting to the Islamic faith, surrendered himself to police last May (13) and confessed his plan to assassinate the royal. He later pleaded guilty to a charge of making a threat to kill, and a judge at Isleworth Crown Court in London has now jailed him for three years. Judge Richard McGregor-Johnson told the 31 year old, "This was not a threat made in isolation. The examination of your computer revealed you conducted research on his (Prince Harry's) whereabouts and intentions."
