George Clooney and Matt Damon visit The Monuments Men painting

George Clooney and Matt Damon went on a pilgrimage to visit a painting featured in The Monuments Men when their press tour stopped in Italy. The actors are currently in Europe promoting their new film in which they play art experts tracking down lost works stolen by the Nazis, and they made a special trip to see Leonardo da Vinci's famous mural The Last Supper while they were in Milan on Monday (10Feb14). The Monuments Men co-stars John Goodman and Bill Murray also went along for the outing to see the work of art, which is featured in the film's opening scenes. The outing came ahead of the movie's premiere in London on Tuesday (11Feb14).
