Funnyman Chris Kattan was escorted off a plane by paramedics just hours before he was arrested for driving under the influence on Monday (10Feb14). The former Saturday Night Live star's vehicle was pulled over by police near Van Nuys, California in the early hours after officers spotted it "weaving all over" the road, and he was subsequently booked on a DUI charge. The star later blamed "exhaustion" from a long flight for the incident, but now it has emerged he had earlier been tended to by doctors and helped from a jet amid concerns over his behaviour when it landed in California on Sunday (09Feb14). Editors at TMZ.com report the flight crew had radioed ahead to tell of their fears for Kattan, and medics from the Los Angeles City Fire Department helped him from the aircraft after landing. The report suggests the flight had been delayed by three hours and Kattan had run out of medication. The 43 year old is due to appear before a judge in March (14).
