British actor Daniel Radcliffe has come to loathe his long locks after having hair extensions fitted for a film role, describing his new style as a "nightmare". The Harry Potter star is sporting wavy, shoulder-length tresses to play hunchback Igor in a new movie adaptation of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, but the actor hates having to deal with longer locks. He tells Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper, "I don't mind how it looks but I mind dealing with it. I don't know why any man would have it voluntarily. The amount of work it takes, having to dry it - doing anything to it is a f**king nightmare. I do have a whole new sympathy for women. I wouldn't be growing my hair this long in my own time." However, Radcliffe is pleased his drastic new look often stops him from being recognised by fans, adding, "There's something really fun about looking totally different and seeing yourself that way. But it's not a permanent change."
