Stars back Sport Relief auction drive

Russell Brand, Bonoand Kasabian are among the stars who have donated special prizes to an auction raising money for U.K. charity Sport Relief. The Give It Up For Sport Relief drive has been spearheaded by funnyman Brand, who has offered himself up as an auction prize on eBay.com. The winner of the auction will get the chance to spend a day hanging out with the comedian, joining him for a yoga session, a meditation class and a coffee at his favourite cafe. Brand's prize had drawn bids of $3,600 (£2,250) by Wednesday (26Feb14). A pair of Bono's sunglasses and the chance to meet the singer at a U2 show is also up for grabs, along with the outfit worn by singer Paloma Faith during her participation in the Olympic torch relay race in 2012. Kasabian have donated a signed guitar and a meet and greet session, Rizzle Kicks star Jordan Stephens gave a signed soccer shirt and rapper Plan B handed over a signed platinum disc. The celebrity auctions end on Sunday (02Mar14), while fans have also been encouraged to sell their own belongings on the auction website to raise money for the Sport Relief charity.
