Pearl Jam's former manager has been sentenced to 14 months behind bars for stealing $380,000 (£237,500) from the rockers. Rickey Charles Goodrich pleaded guilty to six counts of first-degree theft in December (13) after abusing his position as chief financial officer of the group's management firm, Curtis Management, between 2006 and 2010. The 55 year old was handed the prison punishment during sentencing in a Washington court on Friday (28Feb14), when he was given two weeks to turn himself in to authorities. King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office spokesman Dan Donohoe says, "(Goodrich) will remain out of custody for the next two weeks to get his business affairs in order so he can continue to pay restitution. He begins serving the sentence on March 14." Goodrich, who was found to be using the stolen money to cover his own debts, agreed to pay back the funds in a bid to land a reduced prison sentence.
