Jennifer Lawrence has denied she is taking a hiatus from Hollywood after movie mogul Harvey Weinstein suggested she planned to take a year-long break from acting. The American Hustle star has enjoyed a series of successes thanks to her roles in The Hunger Games and X-Men franchises, as well as her Oscar-winning turn in Silver Linings Playbook, and Hollywood producer Weinstein recently hinted that she wants to take time off from her hectic work schedule. He told Britain's The Sun on Sunday, "She's going to have a long break for a year where she won't do anything. It's been non-stop for her and she deserves a rest... Jennifer is too nice and will do people favours and agrees to do a movie like American Hustle when she could have had a rest." However, during an interview with MTV News on the red carpet at Sunday's (02Mar14) Oscars, Lawrence insisted she is not ready to give up her time in the spotlight just yet. She joked, "That's just Harvey Weinstein being an idiot. No, he's not being an idiot, I don't know. I would like to take a year off, that would be a dream. I'd like to if I could." Lawrence is currently filming The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Parts 1 and 2.
