Comedian/actor Chris Kattan has blamed the prescription medication he was taking following back surgery for his in-flight drama last month (Feb14). Last month (Feb 14), the former Saturday Night Live star was escorted off a plane and attended to by medics upon landing in California following concerns over his erratic behaviour. Just hours later, he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Kattan has now claimed medication he was taking following an operation on his back were to blame for his mid-air troubles. When asked by a TMZ.com photographer about the plane incident, Kattan says, "I was taking medication for my back, I had surgery, there's a big scar on my back... I'm fine, that was... whatever, I'm not supposed to talk about it." If Kattan is convicted of driving under the influence he could face up to six months behind bars and a $1,000 (£625) fine.
