Rockers Kiss have been slapped with a lawsuit by late drummer Eric Carr's heirs over unpaid royalties. Carr's family members claim the group owes them five to 50 per cent of the profits made on songs like Breaking Out, Carr Jam 1981, Carr Jam 1991 and Little Caesar. According to the lawsuit, which was filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, the heirs state they believed they should only be collecting royalties from the American Society of Composers, but have discovered they should also be receiving payments from the group, two publishing companies and Gene Simmons Worldwide Inc. Attorney Robert Garson tells the New York Post, "They thought they were getting it all from one source." Carr died in 1991 at the age of 41.
